Dr. AA Quidlat
AA is an Orthopaedic Surgeon, Physical Therapist, Athlete, and Entrepreneur who is passionate about Filipino Martial Arts. He is an instructor (Guro) under the Rapido Realismo Kali system and has been involved in FMA since the age of 9, training in various systems and collaborating with different practitioners. He believes that diversity is essential for the progress and evolution of FMA. He not only focused on enhancing his skills and techniques but also prioritized the use of durable and high-quality equipment. He began by designing innovative weapon cases and exploring functional blade design.
With his medical and sports background, AA applies principles of anatomy, physiology, and movement science in teaching the art. He emphasizes understanding the underlying concepts of techniques and encourages students to explore what works best for them. Drawing from his firsthand experience in treating edged and impact injuries, he advocates for training methods based on real-world data and practical experience.
His goal is not to train fighters, but to cultivate responsible and self-aware individuals who can protect themselves and others while respecting the law. He aims to instill love and pride for the Filipino culture and country by sharing the knowledge and practice of FMA. -
Coach Kayo Coruña
Coach Kayo Is an expert marksman. A combat veteran and seasoned small arms instructor, he has been teaching marksmanship for 15 years and has produced fine combat, sport, and practical shooters here and abroad.
He was assigned at the Philippine Army's Marksmanship Training Center (now the Marksmanship Training School) and commanded two Reconnaissance Companies where he realized that marksmanship is at the core of all combat and non-combative shooting.
Coach Kayo is a lifelong learner and trains with other world renowned instructors to keep his knowledge and skills up to date. He recently finished his Pistol Instructor Course with BZ Academy of Europe. -
Dir. Jake Morales
Jake is a Professional Food & Product Photographer and Advertisingcommercial director. He started his career in the advertising, working for international agencies; namely the DDB Group and Ogilvy and Mather.
After 5 years, he shifted to the production side of the advertising industry, directing TV commercials & Online video content for some of the country’s big brands like, Pizza Hut, Kenny Rogers, DOT, C2, & Betadine, to name a few.
At a young age he began training in martial arts and FMA, with Doce Pares in Cebu, where he went on to compete in international Arnis sparring competitions.With his passion in the visual arts, and his passion for tactical preparedness, and self defense, his goal is to showcase the beauty and power of Filipino Martial Arts, and Marksmanship through stills and moving frames. -

AJ is a dynamic individual whose expertise spans multiple domains, including orthopedic surgery, physical therapy, and athletic pursuits. With a deep understanding of the human body's mechanics, he integrates his medical knowledge seamlessly into his passion for martial arts and fitness.
As an instructor (Guro) in Rapido Realismo Kali, he shares his extensive experience and appreciation for Filipino Martial Arts, enriching the lives of his students with practical skills and cultural insight.
With a philosophy centered around functional fitness, he advocates for the holistic benefits of body-weight exercises and continually explores innovative trends in fitness culture. His dedication extends beyond personal achievement as he seeks to inspire others to embrace healthier lifestyles and explore their own potential through exercise and martial arts.
His journey embodies a harmonious balance of expertise, passion, and a commitment to sharing knowledge for the betterment of others.
